Shore Lunch is an integral part of a true Deluxe American Plan package. Without the shore lunch, it isn't Deluxe American Plan. Our shore lunch is prepared daily by our staff. Here is the way it works... At 12:00 noon, every person in camp who is on the American Plan meets at a pre-determined location on the lake. When they get there, the hard work is already done. Fresh fish and all the trimmings are prepared over an open fire, ready to go. All you need to do is show up. We do the rest!
	Shore lunch is a time to relax and enjoy great food outdoors without the hassle of preparation, cooking, or cleanup. You will meet other guests just like you, and make lasting memories that will replay in your mind for years. For many, our daily shore lunch is the highlight of their trip to Loch Island Lodge and Camp Lochalsh.
A typical shore lunch meal includes fresh Walleye, fresh caught Northern Pike with homemade potatoes, baked beans, and vegetables. Fresh baked cookies, juice and coffee are also served. There is nothing like the taste of fresh Walleye or Pike cooked over an open fire!
	Shore lunches are meant to be enjoyed by friends and family. We go out of our way to accommodate any special needs our guests may have. For those who prefer other foods, we can bring special requests to the shore lunch site with us so they can partake in the shore lunch camaraderie! If you would prefer a box lunch, we can also do that for you!
